What does Clipwise actually do?

You give it a long video — a podcast, an interview, a stream, a lecture — as an upload or a link. It transcribes the audio, finds the moments that stand on their own, and renders them as vertical clips with word-level captions, ready to post.

How does it decide which moments to clip?

It reads the transcript and looks for segments that make sense without surrounding context: a complete thought, a story, a strong claim, a clear answer. Every clip comes back with the reason it was chosen and a confidence value, so you can disagree with it.

Why show confidence instead of a virality score?

Because nobody can predict views from a transcript, and a number that pretends otherwise just moves the guessing into a decimal point. Confidence tells you how sure the model is that a moment is self-contained — which is something it can actually judge.

Which languages are supported?

Transcription auto-detects the spoken language and handles most major ones. Subtitles can be translated into a long list of target languages, including low-resource scripts like Amharic, which run on a stronger model because weaker ones mangle them.

Can I edit a clip after it's generated?

Yes. You can trim the start and end, split a clip in two, change the aspect ratio and framing, restyle the captions, remove filler words, tighten long pauses, and edit the transcript directly — deleting a word cuts it out of the video, not just the captions.

Do I own the clips?

Yes, completely. You keep ownership of what you upload and everything produced from it. We claim no rights in your content and never use it to train models.

Can I clip someone else's video?

Only with permission from the rights holder. Clipping a video you don't own may infringe copyright and may breach the source platform's terms. That responsibility sits with you, and we ask you to confirm it before export.

How does pricing work?

Exports consume credits, and credits are charged on delivery — a failed render costs you nothing. The free plan is capped at a few jobs per day so one account can't occupy the whole queue; a paid plan lifts that cap. Purchased credits don't expire.

How do I pay?

USDT on TRON or BSC, verified automatically on-chain. Card payments through Binance Pay or Stripe are available when the operator has connected a processor.

Can it post to YouTube, TikTok or Instagram for me?

Yes. Connect an account and Clipwise can publish a clip directly, or schedule it for later. You approve the title and description first, and you can disconnect at any time, which revokes the stored token.

How long does a clip take?

Most of the wait is downloading and transcribing the source, so it scales with the length of the video rather than the number of clips. A short video is minutes; a two-hour podcast takes longer. The job page shows each stage as it happens.

Is there an API?

Yes — a REST API with your own keys, plus an MCP server so an AI assistant can drive the same pipeline directly.
